How to use Equalizer
  1. Drop a file

    An MP3 or WAV works best. The tool decodes it into an AudioBuffer.

  2. Pick a preset or build your own

    Start from Voice, Music, or Bass presets, or drag individual band sliders.

  3. Preview

    Audition the EQ'd output in the built-in player.

  4. Export

    Render to MP3 or WAV via OfflineAudioContext. Your file never leaves the browser.

Frequently asked questions
How many bands are there?
Ten: 32, 64, 125, 250, 500 Hz and 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 kHz. That covers the audible range at useful resolution for casual shaping.
What do the presets do?
Voice boosts presence around 2–4 kHz and rolls off sub-bass. Music is a gentle smile curve. Bass lifts 60–125 Hz for headphones.
Can I save my custom preset?
Not yet. For now, note the gain values — preset saving is on the roadmap.
